When we consume a high fat/low sugar (carb) diet, our liver begins to produce ketones. Ketones are water-soluble fats that burn more efficiently than carbs. When your body is in fat-burning mode, i.e., ketosis, you also begin to burn stored fat. This, in turn, leads to weight loss and then weight maintenance.
Today I want to chip away at a very big issue that is especially prevalent in modern society: sugar. Most of us convince ourselves that we have a sweet tooth that we must cater to, but let me assure you, that is not true.
