Fashion Must Haves for Fall

While summer is undeniably my favorite time of year for numerous reasons, there is something exciting about the coming of fall each year. In Texas, we don’t quite have the colorful change of seasons as beautiful New England, but the feeling is still there. The sun sets a bit earlier, festivals are everywhere, and holidays and family get togethers are approaching. And while I will inevitably complain about too much cold, I look forward to those first few weeks of gentle chill that allow for snuggly mornings, boots and oversized sweaters, and yes, the smell of pumpkin spice everything.

So, in anticipation of fall for the rest of the world, here are a few fun, inexpensive items for consideration in your wardrobe.

Moto Jackets and sweeping coats for every occasion.

Faux Suede Moto Jacket from Forever 21 under $40
Faux Suede Moto Jacket from Forever 21 under $33
Oversized Lapel Wrap Coat from Forever 21 under $58
Moto Jacket from Nordstrom for under $100
Open-Front Cuff-Sleeve Blazer from Forever 21 under $30

And for those cozy, lazy days, a comfy cardigan or sweater is always perfect.

Boxy Knit Sweater from Forever 21 for under $20
Miou Waterfall Cardigan from Charming Charlie for $16
Heathered Turtleneck Sweater from Forever 21 for under $23
Sweater-Knit V-Neck Top from Forever 21 for $18
Free People V-Neck Thermal from Nordstrom for $68
Thermal Henley Top from Nordstrom for $38
Slub Knit Open-Front Cardigan from Forever 21 for $8

I can’t wait to share my picks for cute minis, paired perfectly with boots. Fresh and fun pants, and of course, a few must-have gowns and dresses for special nights out or dressy casual dinners.
